HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN WANITA USIA 30 - 50 TAHUN TENTANG INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT DENGAN MINAT DALAM MELAKUKAN PEMERIKSAAN

Abstract


Background: Cervik cancer desease is the women number one killer. Generally almost  all types of  cervik cancer desease are difficult to detect at the early stage. This cancer is the highest death cause which is caused by HPV (human papiloma virus). In Indonesia every year it is detected (11,78%), the data of Dinkes Kediri 2008 it was pbtained 83 cervik cancer patients.

Objective : The observation is purposed to know the relation of the 30 – 50 years old women knowledge of  IVA and their interest of  IVA examination.

Methods: Research design in this research cervik cancer is cross sectional. The research variable was independent that was the 30 – 50 years old women knowledge about IVA and dependent variable was their interest of doing IVA examination. The population in the rearch were 100 women of  30 – 50 years old in Banjaran Village Kediri. Sampling technique which was used was simple random sampling. It was gotten 80 research subjects. Taking of data was using close questionnaire.

Results: : The research result showed that the research subjects had good knowledge about IVA and hight interest do to IVA examination. The result were r = 0,369 and Zhitung = 3,29, Ztabel = 1,96  so  Zhitung > Ztabel so H0 was rejected. there was relation  between knowledge about IVA and interest of to do IVA examination Banjaran Village Kediri.

Conclusion: Based on the research we can concluded that there was relationship between the knowledge an the interest in doing IVA examination the increase  of research subjects knowledge about IVA examination needed the active role of the health staffs trough counseling.
