Faktor Resiko Kejadian Kista Ovarium Di Poliklinik Kandungan dan Kebidanan Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarmasin

Background: Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being that is not solely free from disease or disability in all matters relating to the reproductive system, as well as its functions and processes. Indonesian Demographic Health Survey the incidence of ovarian cysts in Indonesia reached 37.2%, as many as 23,400 people and as many as 13,900 people died.

Objective: To identify risk factors for ovarian cysts in the obstetric and obstetric clinic of Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital.

Method: Analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 70 respondents with accidental sampling technique. Research instruments using questionnaires and data analysis using the Spearma'n rho correlation test.

Results: The results showed that the incidence of ovarian cysts amounted to 75.7%, with the majority of respondents having an age at risk that was equal to 81.4%, and respondents with less eating patterns were 64.37%. The results of the correlation test analysis using spearma'rho with a 95% confidence level showed an age relationship (p-value = 0.033) and diet (p-value = 0.004) with the incidence of ovarian cysts in the Polyclinic Gynecology and Midwifery Banjarmasin Islamic Hospital.

Conclusion: Conducting health promotion about various reproductive health problems, so that the respondents are expected to be more able to maintain their reproductive health and routinely check the state of reproductive health to avoid reproductive diseases and to be able to overcome the problem of disease early, especially ovarian cyst disease.
