Efektifitas Zikir dan Psikoedukasi Terhadap Kualitas Hidup Pasien Kusta

Abstract


Latar Belakang:Indonesia merupakan negara nomor tiga dengan penderita kusta terbanyak didunia setelah India dan Brazil.  Penyakit kusta merupakan salah satu penyakit yang dapat  mempengaruhi kualitas hidup dan kesehatan mental pada penderita . Masalah umum yang alami penderita kusta adalah masalah kualitas hidup.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  zikir dan psikoedukasi terhadap kualitas hidup penderita kusta.

Metode:  Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi experimental yaitu rancangan one group pretest posttest.  Cara penentuan sampel  dalam penelitian ini yaitu  total sampling  yaitu tehnik penentuan sampel  yang diambil karena jumlah populasi relatif kecil yaitu 22 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga minggu dan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner WHOQOL

Hasil:  Terdapat perbedaan skor kualitas hidup sebelum dan setelah dilakukan intervensi zikir dan psikoedukasi terhadap penderita kusta, didapatkan nilai signifikansi p= 0.001 (uji Wilcoxon)

Kesimpulan:  terdapat peningkatan kualitas hidup penderita kusta dengan intervensi zikir dan psikoedukasi.

Background: Indonesia is the number three country with the most leprosy sufferers in the world after India and Brazil. Leprosy is a disease that can affect the quality of life and mental health in patients. A common problem experienced by lepers is a quality of life problem.

Objective: This study aimed  to determine the effect of remembrance and psychoeducation on the quality of life of lepers.

Method:  This study used a quasi-experimental design, namely the design of one group pretest posttest. The method of determining the sample in this study is total sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample taken because the population is relatively small, which is 22 respondents. This study was conducted for three weeks and the instrument used in this study was the WHOQOL questionnaire.

Result: There are differences in the quality of life scores before and after the remembrance and psychoeducation intervention on lepers, the significance value was obtained Wilcoxon test with a significance value p= 0.001.

Conclusion: there is an improvement in the quality of life for lepers with interventions of remembrance and psychoeducation.
