Dukungan Tenaga Kesehatan Berkorelasi dengan Kepatuhan Diet pada Penderita Asam Urat

Abstract


Latar Belakang:Prevalensi penyakit asam urat berdasarkan diagnosa tenaga Kesehatan di Indonesia 11,9% jika dilihat dari karakteristik umur, prevalensi tinggi pada umur ≥ 75 tahun. Diet merupakan salah satu bentuk penatalaksanaan asam urat yang dapat mengurangi dan mencegah keparahan penyakit serta komplikasi akibat asam urat. Peran serta dukungan tenaga kesehatan dalam meningkatkan keyakinan dan mengaplikasikan perubahan pola hidup sehat melalui kepatuhan diet asam urat.

Tujuan: menganalisis hubungan dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan kepatuhan diet pada penderita asam urat.

Metode: Desain penelitian adalah descriptive correlation dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sempel penelitian berjumlah 42 responden yang menjadi anggota PTM di wilayah kerja UPTD Puskesmas Martapura 2 dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrument penlitian menggunakan kueisoner kepatuhan diet rendah purin dan kueisoner dukungan tenaga Kesehatan serta analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi spearman rho.

Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan korelasi antara dukungan tenaga Kesehatan dengan kepatuhan diet pada penderita asam urat  dengan nilai p=0,040.

Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini memberikan informasi ilmiah bahwa dukungan tenaga kesehatan mempunyai hubungan terhadap kepatuhan diet penderita asam urat. Disarankan kepada petugas Kesehatan untuk selalu memberikan dukungan terkait penatalaksanaan diet rendah purin untuk menambah informasi  pengetahuan yang akan mempengaruhi diet penderita asam urat.

 

Healthcare Support Correlates with Diet Compliance  in Patients with Gout

Background: The prevalence of gout based on health professional diagnoses in Indonesia is 11.9% when viewed by age characteristics, with a high prevalence in those aged ≥ 75 years. Diet is one form of gout management that can reduce and prevent the severity of the disease and complications caused by gout. The role and support of healthcare professionals in enhancing confidence and implementing healthy lifestyle changes through adherence to a gout diet.

Objective: To analyze the relationship between healthcare professional support and diet adherence in gout patients.

Method: The study design was a descriptive correlation study using a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 42 respondents who were members of the PTM in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Martapura 2, selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments included a low-purine diet adherence questionnaire and a healthcare professional support questionnaire, with data analysis using the Spearman's rho correlation test.

Results: The results of this study showed a correlation between healthcare support and dietary compliance in gout patients with a p-value of 0.040.

Conclusion: This study provides scientific information that healthcare support is related to dietary compliance in gout patients. It is recommended that healthcare workers always provide support related to low-purine diet management to increase knowledge that will influence the diet of gout patients.
