Penggunaan Media Sosial Pada Lansia: Study Literature
Abstract
Latar belakang: Penggunaan sosial media saat ini mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi. Peningkatan sosial media saat ini menyasar pada seluruh kalangan usia khususnya lansia. usia lansia dimana tubuh mulai mengalami penurunan fisiologis.
Tujuan: Study literature untuk mengidentifikasi dampak serta manfaat penggunaan media sosial pada lansia.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain literatur review terkait penggunaan media sosial pada lansia. Pencarian artikel dalam study literature ini menggunakan 2 data based elektronik yaitu Science Direct dan Google Scholar, Kriteria inklusi yang ditetapkan dalam penelusuran artikel yakni penelitian kuantitatif, artikel berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia, artikel terbit tahun 2016-2022. Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam pencarian adalah Lansia dan Media Sosial.
Hasil: Penggunaan media sosial pada lansia dapat meningkatkan status kesehatan, kualitas hidup, informasi kesehatan serta mempertahankan interaksi sosial lansia secara positif.
Kesimpulan: Lansia dapat dianjurkan mengakses media sosial, namun dengan pengawasan dari anggota keluarga lainnya.
Background: The use of social media is currently increasing along with the rapid development of technology. The increase in social media is currently targeting all ages, especially the elderly. the elderly are an age where the body begins to experience physiological.
Objective: A literature study to identify the impact and benefits of social media use in the elderly.
Methods: This study uses a literature review design related to the use of social media in the elderly. The search for articles in this literature study uses 2 electronic data bases, namely Science Direct and Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria set in the article search are quantitative research, English and Indonesian articles, articles published in 2016-2022. The keywords used in the search were Elderly and Social Media.
Results: The use of social media in the elderly can improve health status, quality of life, health information and maintain positive elderly social interactions.
Conclusion: The elderly can be encouraged to access social media, but with supervision from other family members.
