Kejadian Bullying pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Banjarmasin Timur

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Program SDGs pada tujuan ke 16.2, menjelaskan tentang mengakhiri kekerasan, eksploitasi, perdagangan dan segala bentuk kekerasan dan penyiksaan terhadap anak. Berdasarkan laporan Global Education Digest 2011 UNESCO, Kekerasan dan bullying di sekolah terjadi di seluruh dunia dan memengaruhi sebagian besar anak-anak dan remaja. Diperkirakan 246 juta anak dan remaja mengalami kekerasan di sekolah dan bullying dalam beberapa bentuk setiap tahun. Di Indonesia sejak tahun 2011 hingga 2016 ditemukan sekitar 253 kasus bullying, terdiri dari 122 anak yang menjadi korban dan 131 anak menjadi pelaku. Semua pihak bertangungjawab untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, baik dari pihak keluarga, pemerintah dan pihak terkait. Salah satu pihak terkait adalah perawat. Perawat memiliki peranan yang dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan ini. Peran perawat sebagai komunikator, edukator, advokat dan konselor diharapkan mampu melaksanakan peran yang penting dalam membantu penanganan korban kekerasan pada anak.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi angka kejadian kasus bullying yang pernah dialami atau dilakukan oleh siswa sekolah menengah atas negeri wilayah Banjarmasin Timur.

Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitaif deskriptif dengan pengambilan data melalui survei angket dan wawancara

Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan angka kejadian bullying (korban & pelaku) berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia , keluarga, teman sebaya, riwayat bullying, etnis dan pengalaman melihat perilaku bullying di media yang terjadi pada siswa sekolah menengah atas negeri wilayah Banjarmasin Timur rata – rata prevalensi kejadian diatas 50%.

Simpulan: Bullying yang masih terjadi di kalangan anak perlu lebih ditingkatkan dalam memberikan dukungan terhadap korban agar tidak terjadi gangguan kesehatan baik fisik maupun psikologis.

Background: SDGs program in goal 16.2, describes ending violence, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence and torture against children. Based on UNESCO's 2011 Global Education Digest report, Violence and bullying in schools occurs worldwide and affects a large proportion of children and adolescents. An estimated 246 million children and adolescents experience school violence and bullying of some kind each year. In Indonesia from 2011 to 2016, there were around 253 bullying cases, consisting of 122 children who were victims and 131 children who were perpetrators. All parties are responsible for overcoming this problem, both from the family, government and related parties. One of the related parties is a nurse. Nurses have a role to help overcome this problem. The role of nurses as communicators, educators, advocates and counselors is expected to be able to carry out an important role in helping the handling of victims of violence in children.

Purpose: This study identifies the number of cases of bullying that have been experienced or committed by public high school students in the East Banjarmasin region.

Methods: This study used a descriptive quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires and interviews

Results: The results showed the number of bullying incidence (victim & perpetrator) based on gender, age, family, peers, history of bullying, ethnicity and experience of seeing bullying behavior in the media that occurred in public high school students in the East Banjarmasin region. incidence above 50%.

Conclusion: Bullying that still occurs among children needs to be further increased in providing support to victims so that health problems, both physical and psychological, do not occur.
