Analisis Kebutuhan Informasi pada Promosi Kesehata Tema Menyusui

Abstract


Latar Belakang: Menyusui dapat melindungi kesehatan ibu dan bayi, dan mengurangi biaya perawatan medis. Secara global, disepakati bahwa menyusui eksklusif selama enam bulan pertama kehidupan sangat direkomendasikan. Pengetahuan ibu merupakan salah satu faktor yang dominan mempengaruhi berhasilnya ASI Ekslusif, sehingga dibutuhkan informasi berbasis bukti yang dapat diterapkan sehari-hari.

Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemuk an informasi menyusui apa saja yang dibutuhkan, media yang diutuhkan sertaplatform yang dominan digunakan oleh ibu menyusui.

Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional dengan angket kepada ibu yang memiliki anak 0-2 tahun di daerah Bandung Raya (Kota Bandung, Kabupaten Bandung, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dan Kota Cimahi).

Hasil:, ibu yang berpartisipasi memiliki persentase terbanyak yaitu berumur 26-35 tahun (59,2%), di wilayah pedesaan (58,2%), sedang menyusui bayinya (92%), primipara (48%), usia bayi 0-6 bulan (33,7%), bersalin di Rumah Sakit (42,9%), dan penolong persalinannya bidan (59,2%). Terdapat 11 informasi yang dibutuhkan oleh ibu, yaitu: struktur bentuk dan fungsi payudara, mengetahui kecukupan ASI, mengatasi bayi menolak disusui, menyusui pada bayi pertama, memerah, meningkatkan produksi ASI, KB, mengatasi bayi di awal kelahiran, menyusui saat flu atau pilek, ASI pada ibu bekerja, dan ASI Booster. Bentuk media yang diharapkan video (66,7%), sumber dominan mencari informasi adalah media sosial (83,3%), dan platform yang dominan digunakan mesin pencari Google® (31,5%).

Kesimpulan Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yaitu ibu memiliki pertanyaan mendasar yang ingin diketahui sebagai bekal menghadapi permasalahan ASI dimasa yang akan datang. Pembuatan media promosi menyesuaikan karakteristik dan keadaan yang sedang berkembang.

Analysis of Information Requirements for Health Promotion on the Theme of Breastfeeding

Background: Breastfeeding can protect the health of mothers and infants, and reduce the cost of medical care. Globally, it is agreed that exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life is highly recommended. Maternal knowledge is one of the dominant factors affecting the success of exclusive breastfeeding, so evidence-based information that can be applied daily is needed.

Objectives: This study aims to find out what breastfeeding information is needed, the media needed and the dominant platform used by breastfeeding mothers.

Methods: This study used a cross sectional method with a questionnaire to mothers with children 0-2 years old in the Greater Bandung area (Bandung City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency and Cimahi City).

Results: Participating mothers had the highest percentage of 26-35 years old (59.2%), in rural areas (58.2%), currently breastfeeding their babies (92%), primipara (48%), baby age 0-6 months (33.7%), giving birth in hospitals (42.9%), and midwives (59.2%). There were 11 pieces of information needed by mothers, namely: the structure of the shape and function of the breast, knowing the adequacy of breast milk, overcoming a baby refusing to breastfeed, breastfeeding the first baby, expressing, increasing breast milk production, birth control, overcoming a baby at the beginning of birth, breastfeeding during a cold or flu, breast milk in working mothers, and breast milk booster. The expected form of media was video (66.7%), the dominant source of information seeking was social media (83.3%), and the dominant platform used was Google® search engine (31.5%).

Conclusion:This study shows that mothers have basic questions that they want to know in order to face breastfeeding problems in the future. Making promotional media adjusts the characteristics and conditions that are developing.
